has anyone used any product and gotten succesuful results? I've used armor all, forumla 2001, and mother's back to black. All work for a few days the the fading returns.

Same here but I use this really thick stuff. I wipe it off but then after I wash the car it runs onto the paint. It lasts a little longer than others though.

I have used mequires wax on my trim pieces a good healthy coat, and wax my car atleast once a month and they look good. the fading is probably due to lack of care to the outside of the car through its earlier life. I even put it on my origional shadowline and things like the rubber that rides along the glass, it seems to bring it back to life pretty well for me, and I never have had any of that nasty looking white smear from cheaper waxes that seems to stay forever when you get it opn the plastic pieces
