    Track Times Thread

    Hey whats up guys. I just finished my first track event at ButtonWillow Raceway and i wanted to know who else has gone? and what times they are getting?

    Or any track for that matter. Im a noob to the tracking but here is my setup and track times.
    So post up your e30's setup and the times your getting at some of these tracks.

    My e30:
    Suspension
    :
    H&R RACE
    Bilstein sports
    15mm drop hats
    m3 non offset control arm bushings

    Engine:
    Stock m20b25 with 2.25 single piping to a magnaflow 14815

    Wheels and Tires:
    TRM C1 with 205/50/15 Direzza Starspec's

    TIMES:
    BUTTONWILLOW = 2:31 (Best time)
    STREETS OF WILLOW = 1:41 (Best time)

    Stock m20b27
    Wheels and tires:
    195wide on bottlecaps
    Times:
    Great Lakes Dragway = 16.4

    My e36
    Suspension:
    RD 40mm springs
    Bilstein sports
    Engine:
    Stock m52b28
    Wheels and Tires:
    225wide on borbet e's
    Times:
    Great Lakes Dragway = 15.4 (Slipping clutch)

    My 95 Yamaha FZR600
    Mods:
    Slip on pipe
    Times:
    Great Lakes Dragway = 12.0

      I noticed you're in socal and have a bronzit, me too! Let's go to big Willow springs on August 14th with extremespeedtrackevents, i think you need to reg by August 5. I'd love to battle it out. I've been to buttonwillow, but not sure on time as it was an open test day.

        thanks but no thanks, last night was exhausting enough and left me broke! ...you should come with us next time we go because its usually a group of about 10 e30's and a mix of other friends and cars

          Drag racing was more fun than I thought it was going to be. I Just kept running back to back to back in an attempt for me to get better times.

            Ground control(-plates)
            450/800
            Ie Plates 3.5 camber

            Engine:
            Trm Chip, 17 lbs injectors

            Wheels and Tires:
            Ronals with 205/50/15 Direzza Starspec's

            Diff:
            4.10 LSD

            TIMES:
            BUTTONWILLOW = 2:27
            STREETS OF WILLOW (CW)= 1:40
            STREETS OF WILLOW (CCW)= 1:41

                    your sprg rates look like a very loose set up????/oversteer....????..mild frts...hi rrs....

                        what comp ratio do u run on the m10.?.....

                          its almost a neutral setup .. understeers and oversteers depends how I drive it.

                            Hey Joel, Recognized sig from FAQ. I have custom JE pistons 10:1, 306 IE cam, knife edge crank and lighten flywheel, E30 sport clutch, 4.27 locker in rear. fun for now, going bigger next year after I get rookie license.
