New master and slave cylinder...clutch won't engage now!

Little back story: for the last month or so I had noticed it was increasingly difficult to get my car into gear. Pedal pressure felt fine however it seemed as if the clutch wasn't fully disengaging. The friction point of the clutch was literally the instant you took it off the floor and it would creep even when it was on the floor. When I did my M50 swap about 4 years ago I replaced the slave as well as a new clutch (stuck with the factory M42 clutch/flywheel combo, no issues since the swap), bled the system and it worked flawlessly.

So this time I decided to go ahead and replace everything while I was doing the work. New clutch master and slave along with a UUC stainless braided clutch line and a new soft line from the reservoir to the master. The reservoir also got all new rubber seals and new fluid. (also did a full brake service and rebuild with new lines, seals and pads). I got it all buttoned up today and had my lady pump and hold the clutch while I bled from underneath. Did the old 3 pump and hold method while I cracked the bleed screw, repeated about 5 times. The pedal feels fine and I got plenty of new clean fluid out of the line but I can't get the car to go into gear and when I finally forced it into first, the wheels wouldn't turn.

Is there something I'm missing before I lose my mind and have to tear into this thing again?

We spent least half an hour pumping/bleeding/cursing with all new parts before we got any pedal feel during my swap. It's just a plain bitch to do.

Ha ok I'll see if I can drag the lady back out to stomp on the pedal for awhile again.

Ok I spoke to soon. It is definitely better but only after the car has fully warmed up. On cold start it's still quite difficult to put in gear and still creeps as if the clutch isn't fully disengaged, the odd thing to me is this issue goes away once warm but occasionally come back mid drive.

Friend of mine whose an ASE master tech seemed to think it's likely the throw out bearing sticking. Bummer, I don't have a shop or the tools to pull the motor or trans out.

Hey, so i had a problem like this.
For me it turned out to be the PP bolts backed out.
The real problem was i use stainless bolts. now i used hardened allen bolts & washers torqued those things hardcore w/ locktite.

Sometimes it would go into gear but as it warmed up
it would lock me out when the engine was running. Engine off it would go in like butter.

The way i bleed the slave is just take it off and pump it in and out by hand and that'll pump all the bubbles up to the master.

i do the same with the master but you have to unbolt it an tilt it so the feed is on top.
watch all the bubbles come out the tank.

hope that helps. an yeah it grabs all the way at the tippy top now
