It's not cheap enough so they know about these cars. Enough to want to sell the shell even though it's completely intact and they could make more money by parting it. Given it's location, I would not buy it sight unseen...not unless I was a skilled fabricator who isn't afraid of rust restoration.
"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
I completely agree with you Reelizmpro, this one was close enough that I could go see it.
If I could find one from the more southern states that would be ideal.
Cheers.

looks to be sitting four lug to me. I think someone pulled the 5 lug off it. But the bumper assemblies, easy 1200 on s14, interior pieces another easy grand, side skirts, fenders, and glass another easy grand+. So yeah, 3500 is about what its worth. If it had the 5 lug susp. it was a STEAL.Thats 2500 by itself.
Then you have to pay to ship it, and then dismantle, sell everything. If he's talking rust in providence, it ain't surface rust, I can tell you that. Having said that, I tried to buy it sight unseen for the above listed parts (which I badly need for my own shell project). He never responded to me.
