stock sr's without trans weigh in at around 330lbs with all accessores- a/c,turbo, intake, p/s, etc. aluminum block and head with four cylinders.
not sure about weight difference of m20.

Just pm'd you and just checked the funds, wish i had a few more spending money. Question though, i checked chasebays for the sr20det wiring harness to the e30, couldnt find it. Where did you get yours?

Ya, I'm a if its not BMW then don't do it kind of enthusiast... I'm in no means trying to crap on your thread, just commenting. Those Japanese swaps can put down some GOOOOD power, and any lighter and any further towards the firewall you can get the motor the better the car will handle. I'd LOVE to see how your swapped e30 feels.

I'm just trying to speak up for old school single cam BMW m20 motors... I just sold my '91 318is with a STOCK m20 with 200k+ miles from an automatic, I put down 310 wheel horse power on only 9psi. Stock motor, stock head gasket, with arp head bolts. That's it!!! It was a great daily driver... It was my only car and I drove it everyday many times a day and it was just AWESOME.

GLWS OP!!! I've seen a couple of those swaps done here in Cali. Cool thing is, those motors come stock with turbo so its not an issue with smog I'd suspect. My m20 turbo was an issue to get smogged cuz that's not factory. Lol

                                Good luck!!
