S54 SMG to Manual

Has anyone done it? What is required? I'm looking at an S54 SMG engine and want to mate it with my ZF 320 5 speed. Do I have to modify the bellhousing? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Edit: It appears that I don't have to modify the bellhousing unless I am using an SMG housing.

I've never actually done it. But from my research the motor should be the same. The SMG gearbox is the same as the 6 speed so i dont think you'll have any issues running ZF.

It’s bolts up, just be careful what clutch you get.
