$4,000
179,218 Miles
Automatic Transmission
1991 BMW 325i convertible. E30 body style. I bought this car about 3 years ago. It runs like a top and is my daily driver. Crack free dash, rust free car. Since I purchased the following has been done:
New front shocks
Replaced timing belt (preventative @ 146k)
Replaced water pump (preventative @146k)
Replaced driveshaft support assembly (immediately after purchase)
Replaced guibo bushing (immediately after purchase)
Replaced soft top
Replaced front tie rods
The car has never left me stranded and I wouldn’t expect it to.
Some known issues or things that could be improved:
Front control arms are on their last leg
Aesthetics (seats, exterior)
A/c needs to be converted to r134a
Power steering leaks at the rack, I’ve driven the vehicle without power steering with no issue
Top leaks- when I replaced the top, I was short on cash and didn’t replace the seals. They can be replaced for ~$300. I’ve kept the vehicle garaged since owning so this want a huge issue for me.
I love this vehicle, but at this point it’s not practical for me. Please feel free to message with any questions.
