    Head swap, or internals swap. I need revs

    First off I posted this in the m20 section as well. Forgot that we have a fi section.

    Well I am building the my 86 eta for drifting and the stock 2.7 isn't going to work. I need the revs. I am not looking for more power, I just need to rev higher. I am only looking to get around 300 hp. So having larger valves isn't that big of a deal. I'll just throw another pound or two of boost at it. The question is would it be worth it to swap the hole head for the is, or just swap out the cams and valves for is ones? So internal swap or whole head swap?

    I am leaning towards just swapping the internals. Would it be cheaper this way? Maybe even going with a custom reground cam that would still work with stock is springs. All I really want are the revs. What are you guys with the budget stroker revving your motor to? Thanks ahead of time for any help.
