Selector rod circlip

Hey guys, I was driving along today and my shifter linkage came undone and left me stuck in 4th. I popped it back it to get myself home but it looks like the culprit was a missing circlip

There are two partnumbers on real oem

which one is correct? are they the same?

16 Circlip 8,0 1 06/1986 09/1989 07119932863 $0.11

16 Circlip 8,0-ZNS 1 06/1986 09/1989 07119902293 $0.83

I have never purchased a circlip in person before. is the size 8?

E clip was the term i was really looking for.. grabbed a couple different sizes from the hardware store and found one that fit. problem solved!

Just had the same thing happened to me, first time it popped out of the trans side, second time it popped out of the shifter side, good news is you learn to drive in one gear alone! 4th gear hills SUCK.
