    Drive Shaft for Getrag 420g

    Hey all..

Currently swapping in an M60 and have a question regarding what drive shaft to use with the Getrag 420g 6-Speed. I've been looking all over and it seems that it's the same part for both the 5-speed and 6, but people are telling me this is not the case. I'm getting conflicting information and really need to clear this up as this is the last bit of my project and I'm ready to drive!

I know I need the front half from an e34, but do I need to make sure it is 6-speed specific?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Easiest solution is just an E36 M3 automatic driveshaft.

I just checked out realoem and they show the e36 M3 Auto and Manual to have a 96mm flex disc where the e34 6-speed's is 105mm. I'm still just as lost. ;)

Anyone else have any more info for me?

I thought you needed an eta or M3 shaft(big guibo?), and then had to get it shortened to fit?

From what I can tell on real oem, the eta/m3 is also 96mm.

buy the triangle output flange from a E46 M3; they run a G420 unit.
SMG or 6mt manual it doesnt matter.

its 96mm. Then run e36m3 auto driveshaft (complete)

only dirty PNP resident R3vtards willbe mix matching drivehsaft parts- and they are too poor/cheap/dirty to spend the $30 for balancing.
              OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25

              Euro e46 2005/6 320d 6mt gearbox into E30 with M20 hardy and beck 1985 327s engine
