    m30 or m/s50 easier/cheaper to boost

Which motor would be easier or cheaper to boost on stock internals. I wouldnt buy a kit, rather piece things together. Looking to swap either engine in an e30 and boost, just trying to figure out which is the better option. My goal is about 350 hp

M30 is way cheaper. But both would get you 350bhp with FI easily.

thats what I thought. Are the internals stronger on the M30?

If your absolutely sure you will turbo it, then the m30 for sure.
Mileage is also not really a problem, m30's will go forever (not saying buy any POS that comes along, but you shouldn't have to worry about a nice condition m30)
