    engine problems

    ok so i dont really how to do this i have ask a bunch of people and no one has an answer so i guess i will try this but when i drive my 1989 325i i will loss all engine power for .3 of a second and it will also drop the tachometer and be fine for a little it will happen the most when i am driving around 55 at 2000 rpm and when i frist start to drive. i have no clue why help me please??

        Sounds like a loose connection to me. time to check all of the connections.

          How about the electrical connector under the intake? That’s known to corrode and cause crazy symptoms?

            Check the connector to the coil. I had the same exact systems and it ended up being a corroded connector. Chopped it off, crimped on a new one and never had a problem since.

                  Fusible link in the trunk.
