Zinnoberrot E30 Purchase

Hi folks,

New to the forum but not to e30s. My 325e 87 coupe thats hiding in one of the photos has been with me since I was 18. Im now 30. Acquired more than 20 bmw coupes and sedans in the last 12 years but always find myself back in an e30. I finally bought an e30 that I can gladly share online as my other e30 needs a bit of tlc before she can pose besides this one.. I have always wanted a zinnoberrot and after hassling with the owner for 6 months as his other half did not want him to sell it due to its cleanliness, I pulled it through for a bargain! 12 months on the look out and patience has paid off..

Criteria for hunt was
LCI e30 coupe
Zinnoberrot
No rust and clean body
Original as possible including history, books, keys etc.
Manual would have topped it off but can't win them all unfortunately.
Extremely happy with the purchase.
Sunroof delete option was a must

Specs:
1989 318i Coupe
VIN:AC62255
Automatic transmission (only downside but Im sure we can make a change ;))
No cracked dash
No body damage or rust
Rare sunroof delete just like my other e30
Original to the spare keys, full service history and books from delivery and user manual including the original stereo!
Only 192000 kms on the clock!
Interior in great condition.
Last 8 years spent in a collection and was not driven so needs full fluid change and gaskets, brakes and tires.
Wheels are 17x8.5 all round bbs rs style rims with 3 inch lip, 73.1mm hub core so I have installed hub centric rings to ensure they sit right..
Lowered on apex 60mm coils ; front needs a slight raise..
Ordered/Delivered from my bmw dealer are;
Oem fog lights
318IS front spoiler/lip
Sports front spoiler/ lip
OEM bonnet insulation
OEM 318is bonnet insulation as spare
New fuse box cover before they are discontinued
Oem bumper clips x40
Oem fog light seal (LHS x3) as all you know RHS is discontinued
New ashtray as spare
New seatbelt bolt covers
New door pins as spare

Cheers! They are getting harder to find and prices keep creeping up to the point where I did not care about engine variant and wanted a clean car that I could work on. I created a criteria of what I was looking for on carsales and the app notified me as soon as there were new listings available. Smarter way rather than manually looking online everyday. Use the tool to your advantage and patience is key. What are you looking for and what's your budget? Maybe I can help..
