I ordered some half inch edge molding to protect the now exposed interior edge.

Damnnnnn it looks so good! Great job!

Makes the passenger compartment look smaller, and the trunk area larger. Let's see some whole-car shots
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

Looks great, but I too want to see more pics, particularly whole-car from the side and above. Also, where exactly is the molding going to go?

pulling the vinyl is a seriously legit option for folks - it gives the car a classic Mercedes SL look. Some colors look really great with shadowline trim as well, since without the vinyl the trim stands out more.

I shadow lined my Calypso but won't be pulling the vinyl - the interior's re-done and it really pulls things together. Duplicolor vinyl trim paint matched the new interior perfectly

Looks good! Did you paint the rear doorcards too? Yea, my vinyl was ripped so it looked funny flapping away.

I picked up some rubber trim for the now exposed inner edge of the lid.

Its subtle but gave it a more finished look IMO.

I pulled mine up this past weekend and it's painted primer black underneath, which is weird since even the underside of the tonneau cover is body color. I just put in black door cards so it's a good enough match for now

Rubber around the bottom edge is a good idea since it's sharper now when lifting up the panel

it's a Kenny Powers quote on wheels

Great idea, where did you pick this up from.

I think I'm going to get beat up but I like the vynil better.. I think it's just too much color. You could also redo the vynil with different material as well.

I'm 50/50 on this, I think it all depends on the color and interior of the car.
