    upgraded with new parts

past few weeks had an inspiration to give the car a gift

    here is what i added

    - rear headrests
    - raceland wind screen
    - new wheels and tires

wheels and tires was a gift that kept on giving for two weeks!
8.5 front and 10 rear size wheels were a good bargain but a headache to install. found a good body shop to roll and pull the fenders and after few days of work the wheels finally fit and clear

    check out the pics

Wheels look good! No pics of the headrests/windscreen?

Where's your front tag? I thought NY requires one on the front.

        Those are pretty wheels.

With that said, I'm guessing you didn't spend much time thinking this out? It's a travesty that you had to screw your fenders up so badly to make them fit. I don't know who you had do that work, but if I were you I would go back there and kick that guy square in the dick. a bfh is not the tool of choice for this job. Can you at least get him to smooth it out better? In my opinion, your modification decreased the value of your car by about 3 grand. This just makes me sad...

A previous owner did exactly this to the front fenders on my mtech 2. It was cheaper to buy new ones and get them painted rather than getting the old ones fixed. Fortunately on my car, there wasn't any external damage to the rear lips.

I like the wheels your fenders remind me of my favorite thing though...

check out the other side fenders, the guy the was doing work is a great bodyshop and a friend. he went out of his way to help me with these and i really appreciate it. as i said before i'll be changing that fender soon and respraying the whole car to the same color or e39 m5 blue(there are bunch of imperfections around the car that i have been meaning to address)

i appreciate your feedback, your car looks great. i'm going for a resto mod look vs all original
