Any mobile e30 mechanics in San Fran to help with oil pan

    Howdy,

I've got a cracked oil pan in my 87 eta. Looks like PO tried to repair the crack with permatex, and it hasn't been leaking (at least from the crack), but
I've procured a new pan and am ready to swap.

I've never done a pan change before and although the steps do look straightforward I'd prefer to have some help.

I have a covered garage, plenty of tools and an engine hoist.

Willing to pay with $$ or beer or in my own labor at a future date. I'm not an expert, but Ive got hands and am relatively familiar with e30 upkeep.

I live a few minutes outside of San Francisco proper. PM me if you are interested or know of someone else who might be.

I'd prefer not to take it to a shop for a number of reasons, but me
wanting to participate as much as possible in the repairs is the main one.

    Thanks.

    -MC

No rush. Its not my daily - just a hobby car. Drop me a line when you get back if you are still interested

Ended up selling the car. Thanks for the offer though, much appreciated.
