Less than $3500
Paint condition is of less/minimal concern. Must be a strong runner. E30 or E36 is fine, E46 will be too big for what I want. Would consider an E21 if the right car came along. Anyone have any leads? Quick status update - the old e30 (Clive) with the 24v swap went to my brother, who then swapped an s52 into it and did suspension and everything it needed to make it great. It ended up with him in NY and he sold it for a fat profit to another enthusiast who wasn't so good with a wrench...
I'm driving an e60 530i now, been playing around with coding the computer, adding aux and bluetooth and some other fun things, but it's a daily driver and not slated for anything major.
I keep seeing some e30s in nice shape in west centennial/littleton and it's got me wanting to do another build...Comment
