As its those peoples that elect representatives that enact the laws. Or in this case elect Judges by specific districts and by a relatively small segment of the greater population of the LA Basin that would obviously reflect the communities popular political leaning.

To be fair though I would agree with you, given the Vast rural counties of CA likely dont agree with 96.4% of the shit that your big cites and wealthy coastal counties impose on the them from Sac..... Since its those ares are full of the pixies and fairies, thats what you get to run your states house in sufficient majority to impose their culture on the rest of the state...... Enjoy ;)

i wrote up this big ol fucking thing on what the real deal is here in california
but basically it's just a very small % of people that think the way liberal angled news is making it look. They win for many many reason but it starts with being the loudest most offended and angry.

1 kid is supposedly offended and outraged about what color the walls are in his highschool an then all the walls get painted, everyone gets detention. it turns out the principle is his dad and wanted to paint the walls anyway.
plus his wife would divorce him if little billy didn't get what he wants.
        know what i'm saying?

i think cancer free coffee would sell very well right now non-glutton products made a killing

btw even decay being as radical die by the left as he is
would disagree with a ton of these backwards taxes and restrictions this government want to get away with
to bring us acouple steps closer to "liberal utopia socialist state" or whatever.

i want my e30 to be smog exempt. it should be. i don't like the extra $1 tax on gas either

Decay buddy its not that I am that dense, its just with how things are set up the more local the govt the more control a person/groups have over what happens with in it. You have a lot of control over you city rep, your district judges, Local Sheriff, your mayor etc.... (I know you must know this) If you are in the minority mind set for your neighborhood, well then maybe consider moving to a place that is more representative of your view point.... Or use your 1A right to effect the changes you want with in or to your current representation. What do you expect to happen, when your areas keeps sending the same ol players to DC or SAC election cycle after cycle.... More of the same BS I would suspect ;)

LOL Troll show, always finds the best people to put on the TV, its funny and embarrassing all at the same time. Do I support that general message yes, do I think the people they put on the TV were a bit misinformed ...... Defiantly But you can find that segment of people in every crowd.... SURE YOU CAN, I can go find you countless clips of uninformed Anti Firearm people talking out their ass as well from almost every such gathering.

Edit: I get your points that even many people that live CA are fed up with it, they are moving to areas like where I live in droves every year..... Maybe you should support the "NEW California Movement", as that would isolate much of the Utopian Communities to their own policy and not subject the rest of the state to the same. Obviously the benefits of the current state of transformation to Utopia must outweigh the negatives for you 2 or you would not still be there. Just when you do finally get fed up and leave, please please please adapt to how things are done in your chosen location, dont try to turn it into CA lite (like whats happening(ed) to most of the Mountain West) , the locals will greatly appreciate that.

i only live here because there aren't too many six-figure software engineer jobs in montana or alaska, and i don't have enough money to retire yet. won't for a few more years, but i'm getting there.

remember how i'm an anarchist? an ideal life for me would be off the grid, in a cabin, growing my own food and maybe occasionally hunting when i want meat, with as little interaction with the government (and to your "CA lite" point, society in general) as possible.

i think a few of you may have a bad read on my political stances based on where i happen to live.

Then we should get along a lot better than we seem to have over the years..... As if it were not for the wife and her like of proximity to town I would live on the fringes of the grid myself....

No, but as long as you have reliable, high speed internet access, it shouldn't be particularly difficult to find a software job where you can work remotely.

I'm based in OKC, our Software Test manager for our section of our particular product lives in Dallas. Another guy lives outside Seattle, I think we have another in KC, but most are still based within 1.5 hours of the office, but still work from home a few days per week.

I live 6 miles from the office and work from home 2-3 days per week and I'm just a lowly Tech Writer.

Jealous. I live 1.5 hours from my office and need to be in Mon-Fri most weeks, plus some weekends and evenings.

Trying to find something closer to home / more remote working freedom but thats the downside to living in the country side, a lot less work for my specific field.

No, it's not. Even the large Red-branded company that purchased ours is pulling in the reigns on new hires being able to work remotely most of the time and want them in the office like we typically are 3 days per week.

I like this. Also I remember a study from several years ago that explain what it takes to be carcinogenic and it was only like 2x rate. Out of everything they tested, most items came back positive because that is within natural variation. Even Coke and everyday consumables were tagged.
