Yeah MHWs are a rare find. They’re is a perfect set on fleaBay for 1300. As for the axle angle (that pic was where I think my max angle will beat around 10” ride height. I plan on correcting in the future but for now I’m just going to buy many iX axles and rebuild (now have 3 sets, 2 are rebuilt).

It’s nicely built, got it made by Ben Sipson in FL, he’s built many many e36 4-points and has a really impressive full cage in his e30 HC car. Yeah man it’s nothing like your iX but not many are!

      little update/ backwards progress

I picked up a e36 swaybar this one is the 23mm *some m3 bars were 22.5mm*, I believe the earlier s50 cars are 22.5 and late 23mm... I used the stock mounts with poly 23mm bar bushes, got some new measurements for my sway mounts.

I bolted in my 4 point cage, kinda shows how hard of a life this car has had because I had to make up a 1/4 aluminum spacer for the cage pad on the driverside rear pad.

I got my frenchies and got a idea of how they'd look and I like them alot, these are very useful since I'm sure my morimoto 7.0minis will be bright.

Pulled the m20 to replace the dumb seal on the back of the head (already had trans out), I have to bolt some 95a engine mounts and 80a bushing for transfercase mount for my rtd shifter

Strut housings should be welded by September, finland fix front shaft and rebuildable rear driveshaft. Will most likely bolt the used 140k trans with stock clutch and RHD flywheel back together because I dont see myself boosting this thing for a while considering I like to do things right and the cost of building a proper turbo kit is alot of money, might just get a tig to be honest...

Which seal on the back are you referring to? The little rubber inserts? That's what appears to be leaking.

Love how the car is looking. Coming together nicely.

          Thanks!

no haha, the valve cover plugs are easily replaced and pulling the head off/ engine out to replace those would be laughable. its the heater hose gasket on the back of the head.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Haha typical! Soon I will have it back together. Need to get it back together running on ms2 and wasted spark or cop.

Should be making some decent progress this coming week.

                Lots to do!

that apron... it just works too well with the ix body panels. Now I want one...

If you're going MS2, are you planning on eventually just getting an M52 or something?

Excited for progress. It keeps me motivated... can't take my mind off that ACS apron.

Yeah I like it, that and the Zender rear apron flow nicely, looking forward to getting the ACS repaired. Yeah MS2, No swap. M20 + ITBS + Turbo over any swap I could do within reason. If I were to swap it would have to be a RB. I don't for see any issue's I will have with a 350whp awd e30 with ridiculous throttle response and instant spool with a twinscroll. 1bar on 91 should be safe. Still deciding if I want itbs, they can make tuning troublesome and also hard to drive when the cold weather hits.

I actually replaced my chassis harness recently and will get around to it within the next few months. I appreciate your help a bunch.

Likely not the Revshift unless they are still making them? I have a few local guys with e30s and fabricate or that can make a twinscroll mani for around 2k. Going to do a full 3-inch oval for more ground clearance. I don't think anyone is making them currently for the public. But I'm getting way ahead of myself. Right now I just need to get it running well on ms2 and do wasted spark.

Next thing after that will be deciding if ITB's are something I finetune in the winter and the summer. They are tricky to deal with but I want to make that happen. Boost will come. Its just a ton of money since I am not a fabricator and maybe I'll build my own. This is just an idea that I'd like to make come to fruition and I wouldn't mind learning on the way but truthfully I don't care how it gets done, I just want it boosted properly.

                            More Progress

Recently got the m20 back in with the trans attached, poly bushings installed... I now have a UUC e34 m5 flywheel and fx400 clutch kit (motivation for boost) I ordered a short CAE adjustable dssr from Hard Motorsport 160mm-220mm (I need around a 200-210mm rod to mount my RTD shifter so it is pointing straight up in neutral and not cut the center console for a cleaner look. Unfortunately, it's back ordered... Strut Housings are getting welded up by a friend that happens to have a badass iX (to be s54).

I love my garagistic transfer case mount. Which motor mounts are those again? Also garagistic? I didn't think they had ix specific, that's why I went with condor.

Yeah I just needed poly for the RTD shifter. Yeah engine mounts aren’t iX specific I’ve found. The iX mounts just have longer studs and centering bs.
