    VSS issue - e36 obd2/91 318i

    PayPal bonus!!!

I have the stupid VSS code that's making my car not rev past 5200ish

    The car is a 91 318i with a m52 obd2 setup.

I keep reading about pin 9 on x20 is what I should wire pin 14 on chassis side. I cut a e36 chassis side plug off a donor car and wired it into my e30 chassis side. I only have 2 wires left on the chassis side that are not being used. A black/white one and a yellow/green I belive.

On the chassis plug to the e36 x20 plug pin #9 is not being used nor 14!!

Crisp $20 dollar bill for who helps me fix this issue :)

Go 14 to 14 on the c101/x20 the black/white on the e36 side should be vehicle speed if u gave a late model

What color would my c101 pin 14 be for a late model 91 318i?

Just realized your obd2. instead of being pin 14 in The x20 it moved to X6031 pin 3. Still should be black/white

This didn't work. I hooked up pin 14 white/black to x6031 pin 3. Still throws code.

Blue/yellow is oil level sensor right? Confirm this?? Really frustrated with this. But then again its a swap...

Is there no one driving around with a late model 318i obd2 complete swap?? What did you do for the vehicle speed sensor?
