I'm currently running e82 (1 series coupe) rubber All Weather mats in my vert. Fitment is a little tight in both front and back. Price is pretty reasonable, only about $60 on ebay. Mine are beige and are not a perfect match by any means to my tan carpet but good enough for me. Once the snow around here melts I'll see about pulling the car out of the garage and snap some pics to post on here.

I just ordered a set for my '89 saloon last week. They should fit even better since the floorboards aren't as narrow as they are in the vert.

edit: just realized you were asking specifically about the 1M mats.... Oh well. Maybe you'll want to pick up a set of all weather mats for winter.

No worries. I went with the 1m mats and they worked.

No winter mats, winter driving or dirty feet for my lil guy.

Hes saying the rear mats look wonky because they are installed sideways. It would drive me nuts as well.

Are the e30 convertible mats out of production?

From BMW? Yes for many many mAny years.

                  The only option is aftermarket.

Ahh. Yes. Well I agree and will be trimming them.

Trust me though that when installed sideways they are closer to fitting than when installed normally.

Ok so I'm done stitching a cutting. Let's say I'm not a seamstress but it's an except able effort.

Z3 floor mats fit pretty well, I was running them before my weather techs came in.
