A tumbleweed blows through the m10 board

Lol... they're actually a highly underrated, tough as nails motor though in the e30!

Fast? No. In a manual they're good on fuel though & no pesky timing belt to worry about.

My dad has a very low km one in the shed. Been thinking about what to do with it because no one wants it :D

They're solid little motors and if ever rebuilding one they aren't too hard to hop up if smog is not an issue. Shoot with the right parts you could most likely still pass smog and have about the same power as an m42 but more torque just depends how much you wanna spend.

Or boost it and call it a day.

Mine has been great but its definitely starting to show its age.

Nice - I rebuilt my 2.0L M10 in my e21 many, many years ago... would have been in the late 1990s.

In the e21 chassis it was fine - 130hp was nothing to complain about. I got into the e21 from a Datsun 910, which was tough but very slow so 130hp seemed a revelation at the time.

                  The K-Jet was a pain though :D
