WANTED: Late Model/Airbag Clutch Spring

Hi all,

I have an odd request. I have a 1990 325is with the airbag steering column, and it has a 5 speed transmission swap from a 1987 325es. Because of the differences in pedal boxes, the non airbag car's clutch pedal return spring does not fit in the airbag car's pedal box. If anyone has a clutch pedal and return spring from an airbag car (late 1989 to 1991/92 vert), I would be super interested in buying it.

I've been told by several people that I do not need the spring, and I am aware of that. I want it so I can eliminate the play in the pedal at the top of the travel.

Holy smokes thank you! Would you happen to know if the pedals are different between SRS models and non-SRS models? Or would I need to find a clutch pedal in addition to buying the tension spring?

From what I remember, the pedals are all stamped the same. Its only the firewall bracket that either has the other spring or doesn’t.
