    Zinno 88 325 iS

    Time to post some photos of my project car (or as my wife calls it my mistress)
    So far I have repaired a number of things;
    power windows and locks
    repaired the seats
    SI batteries replaced and some wiring repaired to fix the tach and OBC
    timing belt, water pump, belts etc
    New ignition wires, cap and rotor
    Not a lot of mods yet except for painting in the engine bay valve cover and intake) and the euro plate filler (which I really like the look of)

    Next steps are to get some new tires...hopefully find some Euroweaves first!
    I have bought plastic bumpers but need to get them painted

    Thinking of a 1" drop with Bilstein B8s and H&R sports; thoughts on that?

          Nice car! I had H&R Sports on my 88 zinno. They were fine, except it would bottom out if I had other people in the car. If I decide to get different springs for the new E30 I might try factory MTech. I think they’re about the same as E30 M3 but stiffer for 6 cyl.

            mmm, that might be an good option as I would rather have a linear spring.
            Haven't heard MTech springs mentioned before...I wonder if you can get them from the dealer still.

              It looks like they’re still available. The fronts are separate and the rears come as a pair. The part numbers are in post 13 of this thread: https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=408592

                    Your car is looking great! I really like the last two photos. HR OE Sport Springs are also an option if you just want to lower it a tad and get slightly firmer spring rates than stock.

                      Thanks, I spent some time on the paint...clay bar and then cut polish and wax. The bumpers were professionally painted (bought them black) had the valance painted at the same time.

                      I have bought E30 M3 springs (90,000 km) and am planning on Bilstein B4s for the dampers. Haven't bought the dampers yet...decided against the B6s as some say they raise the ride height and are a bit too firm.

                          Updated photo of the car.
                          Not shown are the 10.5 mm spacers I have since added. The spacers really make a nice difference
