BBS RF 3 Piece 17x8" wheels also known as Design 5000's: 19mm offset w/ New Sumitomo HTR ZII's in 215/40R17's (purchased last month & currently on my car w/ less than 500k on the tires). These are deep dish wheels (approx. ~1.25" dish, & ~1.75" from inside of dish to outside diameter of wheel).
I got these wheels last month & immediately taped off the dish, bead blasted the centers, & layed 3 coats of Universal Flat Black on them. These wheels look outstanding & totally retro, but I need money for an M52 w/ S52 cam swap & have an E30 M3 5 lug conversion setup for the post M50 swap, so I am selling these beauties...
Wheels are in good condition: aesthetically I'd say they are ~8/10. There is some minor curb rash & minute blemishes on the wheels, but it's not very noticeable (as apparent in the pics) & some of the chrome around the curb rashed area has flaked off. The black painted centers could benefit from another coat or 2 of flat, or a few coats of gloss black if you'd prefer. All wheel balanced out to 0 the 1st time w/o excessive wheel weights, & only 1 of the wheels seemed slightly bent but OK for the rear. There is some noticeable vibration at speeds in excess of 75mph, so you may want to have 1 or 2 reconditioned & put those on the fronts - THIS IS NOT A NECESSITY, though something to think about in the future.
These are some of the snazziest wheels I've seen on an E30. Bolt on without any offset problems or rubbing issues on non-lowered cars. My car is a 91 318is w/ an m20 i swap lowered w/ H&R & Bilstein Sports & rolled fenders (baseball bat style) & I have no rubbing issues whatsoever (Austin has horrible streets & speed bumps & railroad tracks & pot holes, etc. - good testing ground).
1st pic is of dirty pre-painted wheel, all other pics are current. Any questions email me - madmardigon@yahoo.com as I will not be checking this post very often nor will I reply to posts.
Price is $1200obo + actual shipping (likely ~$100-150 & unknown until I take them off of my car & get them ready to ship).
I work w/ Jordan at Terry Sayther's & they have his seal of approval ... hah!
