hey just curious. Can this piece be mounted w/o drilling into the mtech valence? Like maybe fit the bolts in a way that it "clips" on the bottom?Renting my rear wheel bearing tool kit. SIR

The E34M3 lip spoiler seems to be the closest in shape & it is mounted with 6 - 1/4" x 2 1/2" bolts which is really overkill (perhaps they learned a lesson when they designed the E30 "is" mount & tried to make up for it on the E34M3).
This E30 M-Tech II lip spoiler is mounted with 15 small #8x3/4" sheet metal screws from the bottom, through the spoiler & the valance, secured with speed nuts. A 3/16" bit is used to drill the holes from the bottom. The spoiler has small dimples to show you where to drill. The screws are really not visible while standing, looking at the front of the car. The spoiler adds strength & rigidity to the valance - that would be a good thing on a 20 year old valance that has had its share of scrapes.
You may find another option you prefer. Please share it or pm me your idea.
Thanks,
Jack[I
