stromung fit mtech2 apron?

Hi guys -

i m searching for a new exhaust for my car and stromung seems to be the one my ears like the most! however, i wonder if anyone knows whether the tips fit cars with mtech2 aprons. i emailed the company and they didnt knot for sure.

urgh!!! that really sux, i was starting to get excited about ordering them! are you aware of any nice aftermarket exhaust that fits that apron? i checked remus and it doesnt. thks for the help!

I have a Scorpion exhaust on my Mtech II vert. The exhaust tips extend straight out of the valance, not at an angle. The fitment is a little skewed toward the center of the car, but not that bad.

I was under the impression that the Remus exhaust fit the Mtech IIs valence opening well because the exhaut tips are angled and extend out further. Where did you see that they didn't fit?

that s very encouraging then, but i assumed remus would not fit because of the description on their own website, have a look:

right above the price there s a note saying it s not meant to for car with m-tech rear skirt, but the picture shows the opposite!

That was my vert, and the Remus bolted right on. But....the tips on mine were angled, like a standard 325 exhaust, not straight like that Remis catalog shows.

Thanks for confirming that your bolted right on. In the picture, the fitment looks great. Odd that the Remus catalogue lists a straight tip exhaust for a 325i and specifically says it doesn't fit the mtech valance. Do you or anyone else have the part number for the angled tip Remus exhaust?

I do have the receipt. In Dallas this week for BMW CCA Chapter Congress. Will look when I get home Sunday. I can confirm the Remus fits perfectly centered in the M-Tech2 valance opening. Also sounds great! Right, Todd?

i couldnt get in touch with Remus directly, but 2 vendors confirmed to me they do fit mtech2 aprons.
