I am helping a friend sell this car we performed all of the service work on it including the engine swap.
This is the only Land Rover that one could consider reliable... We've replaced the motor with a unit built by Cannibal V8. Read up on their rebuild procedure for these engines and you'll understand why coolant loss or head gasket failures are thing of the past with this!
- Cannibal V8 Rebuilt Motor
- Less than 4k on the motor ($6k alone) |
- Short block was purchased, all new wear items were replaced when swapping over parts to the rebuilt motor. Everything was
gone through on this engine.
- New Shocks
- Proper Spec Front Driveshaft - has zerk fittings that should be regularly greased!
- Low Mileage trans swapped - due to front shaft exploding
- All new coil packs installed less than 1k ago
- 20w50 Brad Penn used
