Absolutely beautiful Blaupunkt "Nashville SQR 48" Vintage Head Unit, period correct with an aux jack out front.
Built in 1988. These are very rare and are almost never available in the United States. I had to have this one imported from Eastern Europe. I bought it for my e30, but decided to go in another direction.
The SQR 48 chassis is SOLID, sturdy, and sounds great. It also looks great and fits on any 80's dash with a sophisticated and period correct look. These were known to go into BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Ferrari and more. (Disclosure, the lip does stick out a little in the e30 dash)
The "Nashville" was one of the first decks to feature a front mounted AUX jack for your portable Disc Man! You can plug your phone or iPod right into the front and dance the night away. (Warning, don't dance while driving.) It is also code protected, the security code for the radio is located on a sticker on the top of the deck. It is easy to punch in.
Comes with new ISO wiring adapter as seen in photos. EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT.
am/fm radio, store up to 12 FM stations and 4 AM. It also has a German emergency broadcast thing which you can scare your friends with. Aux jack works as well as cassette (though I would recommend cleaning the head)
