Thanks for the suggestions. I'm charging the battery now and will then take it to the auto parts store for testing. Very recently replaced the alternator. Has stock radio. When I connect the positive cable you get a slight arc. I will disconnect the wires to the alternator once I rule out the battery and will see what happens. Will let you know for further suggestions if this doesn't solve the problem. Thanks
