    I paid 35,000 for my car in 88 and have supported it for 23 years maybe spent 6,000 in maintenance but I do all my own work. You need to remember I'm 66 years old the guy's that own these cars have no idea what they have ..
    Hold on to it when the car becomes an orignal antique you'll see the price go up big time. I have owned two jaquare convertibles a 65 and a 72 both cost me about 2800 & 6500 respectively and now are worth well over 100K. I also owned a 66 chevelle that sells in the 80k range.
