Hi Bishop,
I was in the same group purchase of the 17 inch wheels from Eddy. I know you are trying to sell those wheels now but I am just getting around to buy tires for them. I can't make up my mind on the size. 215/40R17 would fit just fine but I would like the look of 235/40R17 better. My car (1991 318is) has been lowered with Eiback Pro springs and supported by Bilstein HD sport shocks. Car also have 25mm (Ireland Eng. front sway bar). I don't track the car but like the very responsive steering and spirited driving (E36 steering rack etc also installed). My question is, what do I expect from 235/40R17 tires? Lots of rubbing (front and rear)? Staggered - 235s Rear 215s front would be feasible? (I have 2005 M3 with staggered 275/19s rear 245/19s fronts and handles great). I know you have installed 235/40R17 star specs on yours and had some experience with that size. I will probably go with more all season type of tire.
Thanks for your assistance.
