I figured I'd pm you with my two cents. I decided to with tractor trailers/diesel for a career instead of cars. I noticed I knew a lot of car mechanics, but I didn't know any heavy truck mechanics. It has paid off for me. But I had to work very hard, as you will in any career you choose if you want to be successful. Heavy truck repair certainly isn't glamorous but there are trucks everywhere, on every road. And they break down all the time. If you live in an area where there are any major interstates or better yet a port city. It will usually have A LOT of truck traffic. Good luck in whatever path you may choose.
