It isn't immediately obvious as to what the problem is, but the information in post #8 of http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...Power+DME+pins will allow you to find the problem. My first thought, with the interior harness removed, is that the DME isn't getting a START signal.
I consider a hard switched fuel pump to be an excessive risk on a race/track car. The OE configuration has the pump controlled by the DME and when the engine stops turning the pump shuts off. From a fire risk perspective that is far better than a hard switch. It would be pretty easy to put that back in place.
