A bottle cap would work fine. I know you can ship a tire alone unpackaged with a shipping label attached via UPS but not sure about the tire/wheel combo. A tire is unlikely to get damaged but the wheel might get scratched. Not really too worried about the looks though, just a spare for the car if needed. Let me know what you want for the tire/wheel and I can touch base with UPS to see what they say.
