my e30 wasnt turning on a few days ago, the car lights would turn on and i would try to start but it would just click once and the battery wouldnt work for a minutes, but i would jump the car and ut would start fine and everything and i able to disconnect the battery while the cars was on, so finally i looked at the battery and for some reason started messing with the ground cable and found out that it would only spark when touching the body of the car not the washer it was screwed against, so i sort of connected it straight to the body and the car starts up fine. so my question is why does the ground all of sudden doesnt work screwed against that washer?
