Hey Elliot. Sorry it took so long to respond. I just saw your reply. For some reason this one doesn't show in my message list. The car ended up catching fire for a second time once I picked it up from the shop. It turns out they put the wrong wiring harness in it (early model). We still don't know what caused the first fire. Now it's being rebuilt by Luke (stereoInstaller1). I was wondering if you could tell me everything you remember about the engine or contact info for whoever built it. You told me it was a Schrick 288 cam. Luke looked at it and said there is no Shrick stamp on it so that is unlikely. He also told me there is low compression on cyl #6 which he thinks accounts for the way it's running. Do you know anything about the pistons that are in it? He wants me to find some seta pistons but that would be a total waste of money if it already has some custom pistons in it. Anything you remember would be a great help.
