can I ask you something please?
I am reading many post before asking questions and I have a feeling you have the knowledge.
I know a little about the older bmw's and there gearboxes but from the newer models I am still learning.
I am building a bmw e24 turbo,with a bmw m30.I will not use the Original gearbox because I know that the box is not strong enough.I have read many good things from people with a e36 m3 that use the 5 speed with 500/600 bhp without any problem.
I want to the same power from my m30.
I want to use the s5d 320z.
I want to know that you know what other gearbox or engines have the same bellhousing connection.
there is a polisch company PMC motorsport that is making good and sheap gearbox adapters.they have the info of the m57 gearbox.
is that the same like the m54?
