I wanted to pick your brain a little on the remote turbo setup on your e30. I know its a old post but I thought the concept was pretty interesting. Is there a reason why the exhaust running into the turbo had a separate pipe to let exhaust gasses pass the turbo? I was thinking of doing this setup but running my long tube headers into a single pipe into the turbo. Again, this setup in very new to me. I just figured when a turbo is mounted on the manifold, all exhaust gasses are passing through it.
