    Anyone make a pnp harness for a m50nv e30?

Just wondering if one of you guys can make a better looking harness than what I have. My harness looks like crap and is just kinda laying against the firewall lol. I've looked at some of the nice ones online and they want 200-350 for theirs. I just want something clean and decent. Thanks guys

Markert Motorworks, Nando, or RobertK. Nando makes nice adapters, the other 2 make nice plug and play harness' that repin the harness with a c101. If you don't want to do it yourself, it is going to cost you. Thats just how it goes.

Well sounds like he doesnt have it loomed up any kind of way. Most popular way is to use 318/m3 harness cover for firewall. Its a pain in the ass to get it all fitting in and looking good but its worth the trouble. I think getting that harness cover on and like i wanted it to look was probably the most tedious and time consuming part of my entire swap hahaha.

To make that look better just get the m3/318i covers for the firewall as stated above. That is easy enough. They can be a little tricky to get everything stuffed in there but it has been done time and time again.

If you really want a nicer looking harness adapter, I can make you one for $180 shipped. I can also repin your harness and lengthen the diagnostic plug to fit in the original firewall cover location. That would also be $180 shipped, and you would need to ship it my way.
But here are some pics of the firewall covers that will need to be modified.
The parts that have a red box around them will need to be trimmed for clearance.
Here are the cover part numbers. Look them up on ECS tuning.

I'm running one Nando made and it's been absolutely perfect. The engine covers make a big difference in how it all looks. Took a bit of trimming but it all fits.

It looks really clean man. So you can make a harness for 180 and to get to lengthen it to fit it would be another 180? Or if you want could you pm the details on how the process works? Thank you and thanks guys

Yes sir. nando's harness adapter plugs into the factory body harness and plugs into the m50 engine harness. The covers are factory 318is and the passenger side cover is factory e30 m3 and was like $26. Well worth it.

I dont actually have a pic of it. But I've linked a modified image (Trim something similar to the red line). It basically just needs to be cut enough to get passed the intake manifold.

You wont need both. You either need the short harness adapter that connects the chassis harness to the engine harness, or you can have you engine harness re-pinned (Then you can eliminate your short adapter).
