New Shock to Keep Stock Feel

    Hey y'all.

I'm most likely in the minority here, but I'm looking to refresh my front and rear suspension on my late E30 vert, and I'm looking to keep the stock feel (that is, a setup that keeps comfortable qualities of the stock setup).

As the car drove stock, the rates are fairly soft and the damping really compliant. Thats what I want to keep. If I can get the car a little lower without compromising, I'm all for it, but the stock feel is the priority.

If there's another thread I should look at, please forward me, but if anyone's got suggestions in terms of new shocks at least (rears are completely toast, fronts not too far behind), that'd be great. If you've got suggestions for the whole setup, that's great too.

    Thanks a bunch

I've used Bilstein Touring struts and shocks on a couple of E30's before. They keep the stock ride quality and feel at a good price.

Closer to stock would be Boge Turbo Gas aka Sachs Advantage low pressure gas shocks but for some reason they don't seem to be as available here in the US like they used to be.
