    E30 M3 pressure plate with a M20 clutch

Will a E30 M3 pressure plate work with a stock M20 clutch disc? Will the combination be able to handle more power than a stock M20 kit? Does a M20 throw out bearing work with the combo?

I am unsure, I am just throwing this out there, but I vaguely remember reading that M3 pressure plate is larger diameter than the M20.

should be the same... the sachs sport clutch at www.bavauto.com is the same part number for the M3 and 325 (single mass kit).

The clutch kits are both 228mm, and I know that the E30 M3 pressure plate will bolt up to a M20 flywheel. I'm just wondering if the M3 plate will clear the sprung hub of the M20 disc. It probably will, since the M3 plate was sprung as well.

btw, I'm sticking with the stock M20 set up. But now I'm just curious ;)
