Ok so got the tach working.. Looks like my garagtastic tack sender thingy was in the way????
So i pulled it off and the damn thing woke right up...
So I try placing the garagtastci tach thingy in my adapter harness thingy. I'm pretty sure it was just my placement my inability to wire shit right....lolhttps://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar...re-irs.356333/

I had it wired in behind the cluster, if you look back further in the build I documented the fitment in this build. well first thing i noticed was my tach not moving, so thinking "maybe I made a mistake" I would check the one think I messed with... So after checking both the harness adapter and the tach thingy and not finding anything wrong I pulled it off just to see if the tach would work at all.. and it did...
So I put the dash back together with out the tach thingy cause I know that all works. So my thought was I'll just wire the tack thingy into my harness adapter. But still nothingso I tried testing the thingy and I couldn't get anything to work....Crap....
So I sent a message to Garagistic explaining my problem and issue. Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon.

So today i installed the Garagetastic tach mod for the V8 swap.
Decided to mount this on the "blue c1" plug off the back of the cluster. Keeping in the cab, away from harm.
So if your interested in doing the same I'll post up the info below.
Blue C1 connecter
Soild brown = Negative/Ground
Grn/yellow = 12v/Positive
Pin #7 solid black splice this in dme to tach
Yellow to tach , white to dme.
Remember Garagetastic's mod requires a 4cyl tach plug. This mod will not work with the 6cyl plug
You'll need a Dakota Elc. Setup for the 6cyl.

Wow ok got my sunroof working. It was the gawd damn ground... loose
Everything is on the up and up.
Got my new coolant overflow tank but need hoses (coming soon)
Still need to figure out my tach issue. ugh
Once I get the tach finished I can finalize my harness adapter and finish this crap...
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm looking at killing at the next bimmerfest
fingers crossed..lolhttps://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar...re-irs.356333/

So spent the day finishing the cooling system. Added a Huge OE fan and moved my other fan so now i have a low and high speed fans, as a pusher and a puller. Also mounted my new overflow tank with hoses. I'm really happy with it. It hides well in plane sight.
Also heard back from Garagistic, they want my tach signal thingy back and there sending me a new one. I thought that was pretty standup and cool on there part.

I just wired my Dakota this weekend and got the TACH working. I still can get my temp gauge to work. I think I got a bad sensor or a bad SI board.

I plan on a similar setup. But I'm planning to have resonators just behind the trans and separate mufflers per 2.5" out at the back..;Dhttps://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar...re-irs.356333/
