are you sure the clips are really NLA, or is it the same old BS of euro parts not available to US customers without a euro vin. BMW will tell you those parts are NLA and they are NOT.

anyway here's a summary (all this info is in the thread already with some really terrific pics):
There was an MT1 rear apron for "everything except 325i" that has a straight cutout for exhaust tips like Strömung. This is what the rear looks like

There's a separate 325i version of the MT1 rear apron with a slanted opening for exhaust tips. I of course have a Strömung on my 325i vert and a 325i MT1 rear apron. They are not compatible.

I was going to call them about a slanted tip version of their exhaust but have not done so. If they don't make it I have to swap the catback out for something else.
Note that I'm talking about the original setups here. MT1 parts are rare. You use what you can get your hands on, so you will see grey market 320/323 cars with 325i aprons and lucky b@stard 325i guys running strömungs with non 325i MT1 aprons..
have fun!Last edited by bradnic; 09-02-2017, 11:17 AM.I BUY/SELL REFURBISHED CM5907s & CM5908s

Do we have an MTech 1 Thread?
Some progress today on the Mtec. Waiting on my headliner from Catuned before I can install the windows in. Still haven't decided if I'm going with pop out or standard set up for my rear windows.

and you're right - Mtech1s in Germany were only available 86-87, Delphin, Lachsilber or Diamondschwartz. Also looks like the bumpers were painted on those, and you could have houndstooth cloth or leather. Cool they had billies and 15mm lower springs plus the LSD too.
Interesting that the German MT1 brochure shows a technician mounting a red+chrome bumper front apron though. They're talking about a retrofit kit of course.
Live and learn!
