undr8d_empire: Varujik's Widebody BBS Kitted Early Model E30

My buddy Varuj (@varujik on Instagram) tagged along to a photoshoot I was doing the other day for Performance BMW Magazine, so I figured this was a great chance to finally shoot his E30 that he recently finished. He still has some small details to finalize before Bimmerfest and then will be swapping the motor, but it's pretty damn nice thus far!

If you notice, this is not your typical BBS body kit fitted to an E30, Varuj's body shop did custom metal and composite work to the body and the kit to widen it. IIRC the RS he's running are 16x9 front and 16x10 rear, with nice meaty tires! The car is painted BMW Mineral White, which looks amazing on this car IMO. He plans to lower the car a little bit more, but otherwise it looks pretty epic so far!

Anyway, enough blabbing and onto the goods!

        Damn.

I consider myself a bit of a purist, but I love this. Job well done.

Kamei heckspoiler goes alright with the BBS kit. Pretty good looking car right there.

I really like it but I'd make a few cosmetic changes.

I mean it could be lower, but I think it's perfect height for the meat it has.

These are the changes I'd make: No sidemarkers, although the BBS kit is rare, I'd still shave them.

Then make new turn signal covers because the current don't seem to fit the cutouts. It looks like the cutouts are almost made for late model bumper turn signal covers? Personally I'd experiment if late models don't fit better: A new sheet of smoked plexi with orange bulbs or something to make the front end as clean as possible. Then smoked ellipsoids to tie the front end together.

Besides those small changes, it looks very unique and in a good way.

I gotta say Chris, no full straight on rear shot to show them wide tires though? For shame! :p
