    negative camber tires...

I've been meaning to post this for a couple days. Optima Sports has developed a camber tire that allow for negative camber with the entirity of the tread remaining in contact with the road at all times. I've drawn a picture of what it looks like (to avoid copyright law bs). Check out my dope MSpaint skills yo. The inner sidewall is shorter than the outer sidewall allowing the tire to tip inward. Better cornering, even wear, dope stance... I'm definately getting a set if they aren't crazy expensive when they come out. ETA: 2 years. What do you guys think?

wtf, the neg camber wear on an e30 tire isnt even that bad. just rotate them. besides, who even expects to get long life on a tire for a e30? if it lasts more than 4-5 months, its good.

If the outside of the tire is taller than the inside, it shouldn't even be able to roll straight, which would wear faster than a regular tire. Makes no sense.

Wow...I was talking about this with my friend today. Weird as fuck, I did not even know they had this planned. I was just thinking it because of my current camber wearing.

I'll take camber wear than that design.

the simple solution is to run properly sized wheels and tires.

I would give them a go, my first concern was that a taller sidewall on the outside would mean more flex on the outer sidewall but it seems they have that covered.

Interesting and like anything new there will be love/hate

Or a decent alignment. I have tons of camber and no strange wear issues.

My guess is that they are going to be so expensive that it isn't even fucking worth it.

At least that but, I think it is dumb to run wheels so wide you have to run tons of negative camber to fit them.
