None at all. Have the 87 es that's going th do autox and track days. The cabbie is STRICLY a daily driver.

Well, when I searched for one, I tried to place a wanted ad in Roundel and they wrote back after the editor caught my ad. I talked to a guy at BMW NA in NJ - he confirmed it. There are some around - they are conversions with swaps.

I just go with what I've personally experienced, and to me, the ride quality and performance and ride height that the eibachs gave me was PERFECT for a daily in MA.

What should I do about my cabbie in this case? The H&R race are just too low...
No prob, thanks for respecting the post.

Like TJ said, H&R Sports are well-engineered and not too low.

Scott - I'll get my search focused on H&Rs then.

I know they brought 525iT/5spds to the States.

Absolutely man - I had never heard anything to back up the "eibachs are shit" argument - and you laid it right the fuck out ;)

Maybe the H&R sports would work - just a question of finding them for a cabbie.

I can pick the TMS ones up locally - they're in the same town as my garage :)

I love my H&R/bil. sport setup. Its nice and comfy on shitty roads, but holds me down quite well. I definately recommend it.

Oh, and as far as 20 psi goes... You really dont have to buy stage two just to get an intercooler, i'd just buy one, and bend my own pipes- you're looking at maybe $400, unless you want a spearco or something.

                    Good find, anyway.

Are those RS II's? I say hell yeah. And there are numerous reasons that you should pursue the 535 instead of the 540. The 535 is a fucking bulletproof car....one of if not THE last that BMW made, and very responsive to mods, chips, handles F/I very well. Lots of people say its a much better option than the V8. Lets face it. The first V8 BMW made inthe New era is not a jewel by any means. It is smooth as shit though, but it takes money to keep it that way. And lets not even talk about the S38/M88 in the ///M5.

Yeah and manual V8s are around twice the price of the one I'm buying this car for, and they're pure stock.

Possibly RSIIs, not too interested in them though.

Awesome car. Kinda looks familiar to me...? :)

540/6's are cool, but there is NOTHING, like the big six. (IMHO)

I use to talk to the PO of that on bimmerforums. Really nice car. Great purchase. And yes, I know how you feel.

Wrong. There were no E34 tourings with manuals sold in the US.

Nice car Permit. My buddy was looking at that one but was a little scared of the miles, doesn't it have something like 270k?

He ended up buying an e30 out of Atlanta, we're here picking it up now, drive back to Kansas tomorrow.

Welcome to the e34 club, not a bad place to be.
