    Powerloss over 3K really irritiating.

After installing my CAI I was pleased wiht the way it performed/ sounded.

but after a day of spirited driving, the next day I decide to do the same.

this time, Wehn I floor it, and it climbs the RPM, the car doesnt Act the same, it Feels like it has lost around 40 HP There are no symptoms, the car sounds a bit like Wide open throttle with not much of a complete combustions/not enough gas/ air or soemthing

doesnt seem to look like vacuum leaks.

I dont think the AFM has taken a shit.
The Cat also just took a shit, and has een rattling like crazy
    Any advice?

Put the stock box back in and try again.

            update:
I have not yet replaced teh cat,
I know the CAI is not causing issues, I was running with hood not fully closed when testing, so cold air coming in. also tested with no filter.

Also The I unhooked the TPS and took it for a spin around the block, did not make any difference when driving. Felt the same as if it was plugged in. Food for thought

I sprayed the engine with brake clean to check for vacuum leaks, no difference. I tried squeezing vacuum hoses, only affected idle a bit. replaced other AFMs, to check if it was the AFM. took off the top of the AFMS to see if it was moving the barn door correctly, etc..

The most accurate way to describe what is happenening is that the car doesn't pull hard, I just kindof accellerates until I need to shift with Wide Open throttle, and the enigne is still being loud, yet sounds duller almost. (from the CAI)

              1. Don't run the engine without the filter.

              2. Have you inspected the electrical tracks inside the AFM?

What specifically should I look for?

I just had one without filter, one with, did a quick swap and revved it up, no driving.

tps tells your car how much throttle you apply to now how much gas to give your engine. you can clean your tps. also if your cat is clogged the higher your rpm's go the more exhuast is created and if that exhuast goes nowhere your engine dies.

~check your cat. if possible run your car for codes. clear then check b/c when you run it with any sensor unplugged you create a fault code

I tired running for codes, which is a story in itself, becuase the car has been saying coil 1 needs to be replaced 1271 since the dawn of time. I went to COP still same code.
