FINALLY completed my LED tail project after 2 months of working, waiting, and distractions. LOL I rolled around with one side being LED for like 1.5 months. There are a little over 300 LEDs. Everything is LED but the parking light and reverse light. I figured doing those would be a waste of time since they don't ever flash. The unit I used to control the brightness/intensity differences of the brake lights, so I could use them as parking lights too, also came with a neat strobe feature which is what you see flashing like an emergency vehicle. Figure I'll use it at shows and for keeping tailgaters back. Let me know what you think, but keep in mind I took the video with a regular camera that also does video so it's not the best quality. It didn't capture the full brightness or correct color of the red LEDs. They are HIGHLY visible during the day and of course super bright at night. I can take a night video if you guys are interested.
Oh and yes I am 6'8" and make the car look like a clown car... lol I drive from the back seat almost.
