Yea man - really great work. I (of course) would like to the the led's larger. To fill the whole area.

Maybe think of two different sets? A standard set and a pimp set?

I might do a Revision 3... lol but am taking a break from them for awhile. Let my hands have a vacation from soldering for a bit. Problem is... it's tough to fit that many LEDs in there with the contours of the reflector behind the lens. The board you stuff in can only be so big in some places. That being said... I could easily have stuffed another 20 LEDs per side on the brake light area, which is the area you are talking about I'm sure. And I agree with you it would probably look a bit better.

Car gets crazy reactions from ppl driving at night though :) It's so fun.

I have a 318is so I have no check panel to defeat. If I did, I would just crack it open and desolder the LEDs for the light check circuits. Oh and no you can not heat up vero (I believe that's what it's called) board to bend it. You have to do multiple boards to round curves like I did with the turns. You know... a series of angles to form a semi circle.

This could be done to any tail light. I've done the sides and fronts all in LED.

I think so too... lol but good luck finding someone willing to hack those up to install the circuit boards. I wouldn't do it ;) Although I am thinking about ordering some ebay tails and LED'ing them to see how they look (flamesuit on).

Alot... probably $400. $100+ in parts... and about 25 hours of labor. That would put me at $12/hr. Not good, but I don't anticipate many ppl wanting it done so I'd do a few at that price to help the guys who really want LED.

No I'm not buying stock tails... $400 shipped to you after I receive your tails. So you pay shipping to me and I'll pay shipping back. Also I want to reiterate, these are not plug and play... you will need to do some wiring of the LED controller and add 2 resistors to the car. Not a big deal to me, but I want to be sure everyone's aware.

Add $20 and I'll do the reverse lights, that will cover the LEDs. LOL and no I don't have a bunch of dogs, just 1... why?

If you guys are serious and want a set done for you, act quicly... I am about to start looking for new employment and once I have it... seriously doubt I'll have the time to do any of these. I'm not trying to push you... or anything like that... just an FYI.

no thats me, and thanks to some people i lost money on some of those(e30techers) i paid $50 for a pair of tail lights with no cracks in the lenses to find that the back side of the light was cracked everywhere and there were no bolts.
